The Cultural Plan recommended preparation of a Feasibility Study to develop a building program, a conceptual design, a capital cost estimate, a business plan and operating budget for the facility, an action plan, site selection criteria, and a project schedule. The Feasibility Study will be completed in September 2007 by arts management, architectural, and theater consultants for presentation to the Harford County Executive and Harford County Council. The consultants will make recommendations regarding site selection.

The work of the Center for the Arts over the past two years has focused on identifying and quantifying the cultural needs of the community. Pending completion of the Feasibility Study in September, we will proceed with the Case for Support and the Pre-Capital Campaign Planning Study to assess the region’s fundraising potential.
